Stafford residents continue to hear more about proposed data center projects across the county, but the information can be difficult to sort through. Some applications have changed, county standards have been updated, and many residents are trying to understand what all of this means for their neighborhoods and for Stafford’s future.
To help clarify the current landscape, Protect Stafford is hosting another Data Center Public Information Meeting on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 9:30 AM.
This meeting is designed for both residents who are new to the issue and those who have been following it closely. We’ll review the basics, explain where things stand now, and walk through which decisions may come before the Board of Supervisors in the months ahead.
We’ll also discuss how several applications have responded to the County’s updated data center performance standards, so that residents have the most current information.
